His sharp, beast-like eyes gleamed with danger at every twitch. This was Ronald, known throughout Blumedale as the Onyx Dragon King, ranked on par with Marcelo. The black blotches that covered his face gave him his name, a title he only earned after making a name for himself. Before that, people called him Onyx Serpent, a name not nearly as dignified.

If it thought it was me then. "Who am I and what am I?" I asked. " Danae Ravdylon. Bearer of the Ice Dragon." It managed to sound dry even with its kind of voice. I folded my arms and nodded. "So, you're an ice dragon and I carry you. Fair enough." It flapped its wings again. "I am 'THE' Ice Dragon. The only one. The bearers may expire but I live forever. Only I. For another to be born, I have to expire."

Suddenly, the earth was shaking, and the rock that Percy had perched himself on grew taller. Percy was smart enough to jump off the moment it started to grow. It launched up into the sky, past the flying dragons, making it an obstacle for them to avoid. The other dragon flew into Oz hard, fighting him to get the ball. Liam howled as he jumped between the rocks, climbing higher. Oz dropped the ball right over him and Liam caught it in his mouth with a growl. Percy was by his side in an instant.

“Drakun.” The dragon made a sound like a snort of approval. “Drakos Drakun.” To the surprise and horror of everyone watching; the king, the soldiers who stood guarding him, the noblemen and their families, the prince and the princess, Llod and Hegi, the dragon’s serpentine eyes closed and it bowed its head and pushed it into her hand. Mare released a shaky breath and let her fingers fold over the tough scales. She closed her eyes. The surge of warmth within her was now a dull burn in her heart. This dragon was hers.

I became relieved. The scene I had just witnessed came flashing through my mind. I couldn't believe what I had witnessed. The woman before me was no ordinary human; her ethereal beauty and shimmering scales revealed her true identity as a dragon. My husband, Rex, the Prince of the Dragon Clan, had betrayed me with one of his own kind. As an Omega I wasn't asking for much, all I wanted was mutual respect for both parties as husband and wife.

Even as the fight raged, Caleb, Oxley, Fafnir, and Bigby were holding their own when another Ruler rank joined in! The gap was just too wide, and they were all sent flying! "Shit," Oxley swore, his clothes reduced to rags. "Where's the sense of fairplay?"

Linking my arm through Jade’s I began pulling her along to follow the boys. “Come on, try to get there before the sun starts coming up.” We met up with the guys, which Kellan had already shifted into a large green Dragon, but while he was magnificent, it wasn’t nearly as impressive as Cyran’s Dragon. Once we were all settled on Kellan’s Dragon, luggage and all, Kellan spread his gigantic wings and flapped them a few times before taking off into the night sky.

King Dragon got down from his horse, asking for a man with his kingdom uniform to keep the horse in its place. Oliver had stood in the front of his accommodating place and looked quite taunted to approach him. “Where have you been?” He asked in his curious tone to King Dragon. “Business should be done.” King Dragon smirked and glinted at the young man. Oliver’s brunette hair was being messed up by the wind. He looked at King Dragon with his squinted eyes as the wind played his hair, covering his eyes.
