But Milo glides his way to join his crazy friends and pushed Jasper hard when he was not looking so he fell down too and all of us burst into laughter. These guys looked like kids who are always up to having fun and it’s amazing how they act like this despite being insanely famous.

How the fuck did he have the balls to stroll into a police station? The cop glanced between us. “Who are you to Jake?” Milo’s lips curved, all charm and lies. “Milo Kane, Jake’s boyfriend.” I nearly choked. He heard me? He stepped closer, facing the cop. “You grilling my boy without a lawyer? That’s fucked up.” His voice was smooth, but there was a cold edge that made my skin crawl. The cop sighed, waving us off. “Your story checks out. Get out, Jake.”

The three of them even celebrated that with his first cruise down the coastal road while Maeve sat behind Angela. "Good afternoon, my little beans," Milo grinned, earning an elbow hook from Maeve. His smile was replaced with a painful frown as he touched his chest, bending forward and groaning in pain. "F*ck that hurts! What are you? A Wonder Woman. I hate your strength." He grumbled walking after them while Maeve grinned. Milo was in the law department. Ever since their first meeting, Milo thinks she and Meave were his little beans in need of his protection.
