Max’s POV I had one hell of a day. I was sore, but nothing that the sweet Minerva Jones cannot fix. She whipped me up something from her little portable drawer like bag of potions and dropped a few of it’s yellow content in my tea. She reminded me of professor Snape from my favorite sequel, Harry Potter. The only difference was, miss Minerva was a happy soul. Snape was grumpy.

Alexander retorted sharply, criticizing the dean's narrow-mindedness and lack of respect for traditional healing methods.

“Hmm. He told me to pick a place so what do you think is the best place to go for a vacation now?” I thought over it for some second before a place clicked in my head. I leaned forward to tell her about it but something caught my attention behind her, in the distance. The back of the man looked familair and when he turned around, my heart almost raced out of my chest. Professor Marison was walking toward a table and behind him was a woman who looked to be around his age. She was beautiful, with long blonde hair and a nice smile. I could not help but eye the way her white short dress fit her slim and curvy build.

"What if this doesn't work and he dies anyway?" Placing a hand on her back I take a few deep breaths, waiting for her to compose herself. "We won't let that happen," I smile. "You are the best potion master Araminta has ever trained and I," placing a hand on a broken twig of thyme, pour a small measure of power into it, and the shriveled herb springs to life, "I am a natural-born green witch. We'll heal Rudy. And then, we'll save Sly."

“Buy everything on this. Don’t take long, and if you see anyone who looks like they work under Smite avoid them okay? She’d surely try to do something to mess with us. Be careful.” Poppy put the money into her apron and winked excitedly. “Of course! I’ll be quick.” I watched her skip out of the quarters, humming to herself, and a small smile appeared on my lips, though it didn’t last long. I started to feel worried. Somewhere along the way, Poppy had stopped being just a servant. She’d become like a sister more than Coraline ever was. The thought of something happening to her made my chest tighten painfully.

My jaw dropped as I laid eyes on the most handsome man I’ve ever seen in my life, walk into my now empty class. He was too old to be my student. Her expression became twisted. Mr. Longbottom took in every detail. A gleam flashed across his eyes. He said indifferently, “The legendary doctor has only one student. She was raised by him and inherited all his skills. She’s also an expert with poisons. It’s better to be her friend than enemy. “With the legendary doctor’s student treating Camryn’s eyes, it’s a given that she would be able to regain her sight.” Carrie said furiously, “That’s why I said she was lucky.”
