His eyes met mine the second I stepped out, scanning my face for answers. “What did he say?” I hesitated. “He offered me everything I need to end this war.” “And the price?” I exhaled, running a hand through my hair. “My soul.” Helios pushed off the car and closed the distance between us. “Then it’s not an option.” I looked up at him. “Helios—”

That's when he had an idea. "Helios, can you come and see me please?" He mindlinked the god of the sun. He was among the few who could travel between their realm and Earth. "On my way," Eros smiled as he sat back in his chair. He knew Helios would jump at the chance to help. He was often underrated because he was the god of the sun, and people assumed that meant he didn't have much to do. Helios appeared in his office, smiling. The power of magic meant the gods and goddesses could teleport just about anywhere they wanted. As you would expect, the god of the sun has a golden tan with pale blonde hair and amber eyes.

– Helios doesn't seem to like being scolded, even though Selene's words are absolutely correct. Shut up, at least I've found my master – retorted Selene – By the way, Helios, I sensed the Zos empire a while back, what do you think? What do you think? – Helios is a little funny – Do you mean I think I will return to serve that ancient empire? Or are you asking me to be loyal to Lord Zos or Queen Titania or better yet to Emperor Vincent? Selene was silent. Helios looked straight at the smiling Selene, her oval pupils shining with determination:

Liam's enforcers just kicked my ribs, they didn't touch my womb that much, I made sure of it! Please, someone say something!" Helios, the eldest of the triplets, stepped closer to the bed. He wore a dark suit, his face calm but his eyes dark with a deep, hidden intensity. He sat down gently on the edge of my mattress, reaching out to wrap his large, warm hand completely over my trembling, blood-stained fingers.
