Playing Second Fiddle

Playing Second Fiddle

As I grew up and truly understood the dangers of her sickness, I started saving up money for her, only to realize that all the money I'd saved was nothing but a drop in the bucket when her heart condition finally flared up. Merely getting her admitted into the hospital was enough to evaporate my savings overnight. While I was in the corridor, cursing God for this injustice, Evie's mother appeared. Back then, Evie was still in a downward spiral because of Stewart's departure, drinking until she had gastric bleeding, and dating five boyfriends in a row. Not only was she being irresponsible towards herself, it also gave massive negative publicity to her family, the Joneses. And my face, bearing

The Vicious and Vengeful

The Vicious and Vengeful

“Question though, isn’t the Second Male lead usually the gentle and caring type while the Male lead plays up the Dominate idiot that has a hole in his brain and is thinking with his lower half? Why does this Second Male lead have his hand up the Female lead’s skirt??” Alexander: w(°o°)w Daisuke: ╮(︶▽︶)╭ [ It’s possible that the world conscious had no choice but to pick him, because this world is abnormal because the males that could qualify for this position have close to no attraction towards the female lead, there isn’t even a villain in love with the female lead. She’s very pitiful.] “In my opinion, these two deserve each other. They’re both calculating and selfish, dirty sick excuses for

Powerless Against His Feisty Wife

Powerless Against His Feisty Wife

In other words, it meant that she had a genetic defect. People who had super-male syndrome were often abnormally tall. They had unusual facial features and generally had lower intelligence. People who had this condition also often had personality defects. They were cruel, cold-hearted, and quick to anger. There was no cure for this condition, so those who had this problem were often seen as "antisocial" or "sociopaths". It referred to their lack of compassion and inability to think logically. They did not empathize with human emotions, and they were indifferent to the suffering of others. They often found joy in others' suffering.

It was one of my favorite books to read in this app, unfortunately the author left the plot hanging. This is a book that deserves to be continued, maybe a second book. The author is very creative with the plot, I just want more and I’m willing to continue my subscription. Please

Same Husband, Different Script: I'm the Real Female Lead

Same Husband, Different Script: I'm the Real Female Lead

"You've been in the industry for years, and you still don't get it? Of course, he's had surgery to look like my husband. How else could he play the part?" This made sense to everyone, so they nodded in agreement. "Ah, now it makes sense. I knew something was off!" The staff members behind us were sweating bullets. "Wow, I almost thought I was on the wrong side! I nearly lost my job!" "Yeah, I didn't expect Madelyn to not only impersonate Mrs. Montague, but to bring in a fake Mr. Montague too. That's pretty shameless." Richard stood in front of me, furious. "So I'm apparently a stand-in now?"

His Second Wife

His Second Wife

And indeed, the man made sure she didn’t get a cent from him. Five years later A man was in his study as his assistant was telling him that his second wife was trying to find out what exactly Mark was after. The man got annoyed because his wife was pregnant, and he didn’t want anything to happen to her. His assistant told him that she was going to meet with Mark and that she was with her friend Luke. “Are the bodyguards following them from a distance?” Robin nodded and said, “Follow them, too.” The other man nodded and left the study.

His Second Husband

His Second Husband

“You know, I’ve dated so many men in the past, and all of them had one thing in common. They always wanted something they could get out of people. Now, I’m not against getting things out of people, because let’s be honest, that’s all we want. If you don’t want to get anything out of anybody, then you should date a wall. At least you’d have a better chance having a relationship with a wall than having anything with anybody on this planet. Everybody wants something. You said to yourself the first time that you signed a contract with Silas, he wanted companionship because he had been single. That’s part of Emery in you. If only he knew Emery was your father, I doubted he would have married you.

What Page Are You On, Mr. Male Lead

What Page Are You On, Mr. Male Lead

’ I was so excited that I almost ran up to her and gave her a hug, but I managed to stop myself lest I bring humiliation to myself. When she went out, I started eating my meal. Then I suddenly heard Jean grumble beside me, who was quietly listening all this time. “You asked her out but you never did that to me.” ‘Heather’ did ask you in your last life dude, you just never appreciated it. I almost rolled my eyes. I think this male lead here has a multiple personality disorder. One moment, he was cold, stiff, and silent, then the next moment he was flirty and throwing a tantrum just like a child. How did Heather and I come to like such a person?
