The Alpha's Forbidden Luna
My breath hitched as I caught sight of the shrine.
It was breathtaking.
The shrine was a circular structure, its walls made of shimmering crystal that reflected the moonlight, casting dancing rainbows across the surrounding trees. Vines with glowing white flowers climbed its pillars, their petals pulsing faintly as if alive. In the center of the shrine was a raised platform with intricate carvings that seemed to shift and move when you looked at them too long.
“What is this place?” I whispered, unable to tear my eyes away.
“This is where the Beauty Goddess communes with those she deems worthy,” Lucas said, his voice reverent. “Step lightly. She’s already aware of our presence.”
