Sky Love In The Air Mga Nobela at Kwento

THE SKY LOOKED SOMETHING LIKE the early hours of dawn—not bright, not dark. Red clouds gathered in clusters over the horizon to the left, and a grey outline of the sun and moon hung up high in the sky side by side with a soft sliver glow. Everywhere as far as my eyes could see looked the same, bare and plain under the soft shadow of light, and the ground where we stood was as dark as night and soft, giving off a feeling of standing afloat on air.

I whisper as I fall asleep. He chuckles lightly as his fingers still dance over my belly. "I love you, too, Marrallyn," he whispers against my neck. Christmas Eve morning is an overcast, dreary day with lots of snow falling. The light dusting of snow is very beautiful on the tree branches, especially the pine trees. I glance at Jason as I stand out of bed. He's still sleeping. Good. Now I can wrap his jacket and the baby clothes in a box for tomorrow. Shelbie is wrapping the gift from her and I. I wrap his present and as I was putting the silver bow on the top, I feel Jason's hand slide up my back into my hair where he scraps gently at my scalp.

With November on its way, the sun shines more often. Heavy veiled clouds ebb to reveal the naked Port-Harcourt sky—so pale it's ashy. It is fascinating how a billowy, lean sheet of gas can conceal behind itself a thing as wonderful and whole as the sun, blotting it out like only ink can.
