The Author's Pov Novels & Stories

Hello to anyone reading this story. Thank you, and I am sorry if it confused you. To be honest, I had a bit of a hard time using POV 1, so from this chapter onwards, I went with POV 3. I wanted to show all the characters and whatever they were feeling. ***** The sound of birds chirping echoed in the air. Yellow leaves fell and landed on the ground. Spring air warms chests, and the sweet smell of flowers that grow wild in the forest adds to the calm atmosphere in the middle of the forest.

NB> FROM THIS POINT ON, THE STORY WILL SHIFT TO THIRD PERSON’S POV. I SAW IT EASIER THIS WAY SO THAT I CAN OUTLINE ALL THE CHARACTER’S THOUGHTS. I apologize for the encounters. The sun had dipped in the sky, and darkness had fallen. Lyana had fallen asleep, and her dear mother had tucked her under the covers. Ayana’s mind was still filled with the memories of her nightmare that had popped into her life like a storm and in the worst moment possible.

3rd person POV Max stood near the window of his penthouse, his hands braced on the cold glass as he stared at the city lights below. He had gone there after he heard of Vivian's disappearance. The sky was a deep, endless black, swallowing the stars, and the streets were alive with movement, cars weaving through intersections, people laughing in the distance. But none of it reached him. His chest felt hollow. His mind was a haze of questions, disbelief wrapping around him like a suffocating fog.

Author’s Pov In the soft morning light, Ashton Knight stood before the mirror, his fingers fumbling with the silk tie that would soon rest beneath his crisp collar. The room was filled with a quiet buzz, the scent of cologne lingering in the air as he prepared himself for the most significant day of his life. His reflection stared back, eyes reflecting a mixture of nervous anticipation and boundless excitement.

Okay, let's discuss important stuffs that will enable us understand the book better; Point of View: First person's point of view(FPP) is employed in the story, and it sticks to the traditional "mono first-person view" throughout with the epilogue being the only exception. Third Person Pov Henrietta paced restlessly in her opulent room, her anger smoldering like a hidden flame. The realization that Nicholas, the stepson she had tried so hard to eliminate, had returned from the dead, killed her lifelong partner, and now held her captive, gnawed at her insides. It was inconceivable, a twisted nightmare that had somehow materialized into reality. She glanced around her luxurious surroundings, a stark contrast to the bitterness that seethed within her. The walls seemed to close in, suffocating her, as the weight of her actions bore down upon her, leaving her in total disbelief.

If someone writes a book about how a woman's mind works the first chapter should state why woman believe that love from two different worlds could actually work. I lean back my head resting it on the edge of the couch keeping my gaze on the woman asleep with her legs thrown over mine. She had a life of her own before I intervened. She looks so peaceful in her sleep not a worry about the monsters chasing her... or the one who actually have her in his possession. I let her legs fall onto the couch when I stand up looking over her turn for a second, but she doesn't wake. She mumble something about office buildings and apartments before snuggling up into a fetus position and sigh loudly.

I adjusted myself on the couch, one leg stretched out, the other bent backwards, my phone was held loosely in my hand. “Let’s see what you have got this time, Author Inked Heart” I muttered. And then I started reading. At first, it felt normal. The author's usual style, the strong opening, the emotional tone and a writing that pulled a person in without trying too hard. But then I didn’t even notice when it happened. One second, I was just reading, then the next I was in it. The main character’s POV wasn't perfect but It felt real in a way that made it uncomfortable for me.
