Walking back over to the table I watch the screen and see two large men standing around what looks like the living room of the alpha house. “do you think the luna and the alpha pups will be okay” one of the men says to the other as they start to pick up severed arms and feet from the floor “The luna was only half shifted and one of the alpha pups was still completely in his wolf form” he tells the other one again keeping the conversation going. “If his mate doesn’t wake up then he might never wake up and his wolf will go feral” the tallest of the men answers the other ones question.

“What about a pack member? Someone in the pack must have a human mate?” layla asks me, I nod, opening a link to the entire pack and I repeat the question to them. It felt good to make progress even if it was just a little thing, it felt like I was doing something useful. “Luna I have a human mate, is something wrong?” A voice I recognise links me “Yes! The alpha has been taken as you know, to get him back we need a human to break the supernatural barriers in our way, we will only need her for a short while and she will be fully protected the entire time”
