The Dragon King Book Novels & Stories

I turned to the first page and began to read. The first half of the book was mainly about the day-to-day life of the early days of the kingdoms. Samuel faced an enormous amount of pressure as the eldest son of a power landowner, and yearned for a better future for all. It was only a few pages in that I saw the first mention of dragons.

Edward spat out blood once more and wiped his mouth clean, “you really are a dragon.” Alaric smiled. “Oh, I have not introduced myself,” he placed his hand on his chest, an eerie smile hanging on his lips. “I am Alaric, the Dragon King.” Asher was getting up from the ground when he heard the introduction and froze on his way up. He glanced at his father and saw that Edward was shocked too. “I knew that name sounded familiar,” Vertimon said as he appeared with Idrissa, Beruka, and Maleeka, as well as a few of their guards. “Alaric, son of Vasilios and the current king of the dragon world.”

Astra's bad mood suddenly seemed to fade away and she was staring outside the window with wonder and excitement on her face. Sal could care less really. All he wished he could do was to hand her over to someone and leave. That was how impatient he was. The power the book would give him would be enough to have him living for many moons to come. Hearing the scream of his people, Toban turned to look at his general. "I want all of them brought back to the Palace at once."

I said out loud and pushed play. “You like dragons?” He asked watching the movie with me. “I have seen this movie years ago.” I begin, Then I laughed at a memory. “I used to pretend I was a princess in a castle and imagined a beautiful red dragon turning into a handsome prince that would rescue me from a bad knight.” He smiled but didn’t laugh. As I watched him, I noticed something strange about his expression. I frowned at him. “What? What’s wrong?” He pasted a smile which I knew was fake. “Nothing.” He says, “So I take it since you saw dragons as heroes that you like dragons?”

I thought with a scornful look on my face. "I can't wait to control their feeble mind," Kendra, my dragon, said with an excited look. "For making fun of how I looked." This war had started years ago when I first accidentally found a book titled the first dragons. And then someone helped me to know more about the first dragons, and their history. Everything started with that first book. The book was buried deep in the depth of a library, and that was the only print, I had found out later. The fascination became obsession and the obsession became need.
