The Mummy Evelyn Carnahan Novels & Stories

She almost screamed out in frustration. She turned to look at Damien, but his eyes were already fixed on her, watching the conversation between her and Tony. “I’m a little hurt, you know? You almost killed me and even ruined my life, but, you cannot remember my face? Did I change that much?” Tony chuckled, staring directly into her eyes. Evelyn took a closer look at him, racking her brain to remember. There was only one person she had murdered and that was ten years ago. He was already dead, as far as she was concerned.

Candela proceeded, grabbing Evelyn's hair aggressively. "Poisonous snake! You were sleeping with my husband under my nose. How fucking dear you?!" Evelyn let out screams as she struggled to get away from Candela's hold. "Aunt, stop!" Mimi yelled. "Candela!" Adrian yelled, making Mario angrier as he stared at his dad. Irina smirked. Dante moved towards Candela as she went on pouncing on Evelyn. "I am going to kill you!" Candela yelled, slapping Evelyn's face again.

The ones all over Maya’s body locked up. Who is ‘they’? Before she could speak, the steel doors behind them slammed open. Evelyn Monroe stepped in. The high heels she clicked to where they were sitting, her face inscrutable. But Maya noticed it — the friction between Evelyn and Eleanor. Like two lycanthropic beasts about to eat one another. About her grandchild. Something ancient and ferocious awoke in Evelyn Williams. A line had been crossed, not against social norms, but against the clan itself. As the private doctor rushed past her into the room, Evelyn stepped over the threshold. Her eyes, usually so sharp with assessment, were now dark pools of lethal intent. She looked from her son’s anguished face to Mimi’s pale one. The matriarch had arrived. She placed a steadying hand on William’s heaving shoulder. Her voice, when she spoke, was low, stripped of all its society drawl, vibrating

Evelyn Meyers Tears spilled down my tears. I couldn't believe that Mom was cheating on Dad. I thought she loved him. It hurt so hard to find her being fucked by Carter. I wanted to run away. I had to send Dad this proof. He had to know that Mom was a cheating—

Taryn interjected, “sorry for interrupting.” Inside Clayton’s study room was a strong standing Black man along an equally intimidating wife. “Joshua Carter and that is my wife Evelyn Carter,” the man says extending his gratitude. “Taryn… Taryn Duff.” “I have a few of my team searching for her we will find her Clay,” Evelyn says, she was a very well-built woman, she was body builder of some sort, because she had muscles in all the right places. “Um…… well, Conan and I were listening in on Mrs. Mule and her daughter-in-law’s conversation and we might have found where she is.” Taryn says, trying her best to stand still with all the intimidating energy in the room.

Then the metal dented inward. Evelyn drew her weapon. “No more secrets,” she whispered. Julian was already there. The hallway buckled with heat as the hybrid tore through the last of the reinforced doors. His eyes burned red, limbs stretched too long, muscles twitching with the madness of incomplete evolution. He’d followed Evelyn—waited for her. Damian and Mason arrived moments too late, skidding into the chamber as the chaos unfolded. “Evelyn!” Mason’s voice cracked, but she didn’t look back. She was already in front of the console, shielding it. She knew what Julian wanted—to activate the sequence and unleash the others like him.

The glowing platform brightened further. Shapes slowly formed within the light. Several figures. Human-shaped. Transparent. Ancient. One of them stepped forward. A woman. Dark hair. Gentle eyes. Evelyn's entire body froze. Her mother. Or something wearing her face. The figure smiled softly. "Evelyn." The chamber fell silent. Every survivor turned toward her. And somewhere deep beneath the city, far below the Hall of Witnesses, something enormous opened its eyes.

Heels clicking softly against concrete. Damon’s heart stopped. “Hello, sweetheart.” The voice was warm. Familiar. Impossible. Damon’s mother stood there. Evelyn Moreau Alive. Smiling. Wearing the same navy dress she’d died in. The same pearl earrings. The same gentle expression. Damon’s knees nearly gave out. Luca stepped in front of him immediately, weapon raised. “Stay back.” Evelyn tilted her head. “Oh, Luca. Still protective.”

Evelyn felt Lucian's hand tighten around hers. The darkness expanded. A figure appeared inside it. A woman. Tall. Silver-haired. Wearing Evelyn's face. But unlike the older version that had emerged from Evelyn earlier, this woman looked neither tired nor broken. She looked ancient. Powerful. And furious. The man dropped to one knee. David lowered his gun. The original Mother bowed her head. Even Lucian went still. Evelyn stared at the woman. The woman looked directly at her. Then she looked at Eli.
