Brett yelled as he fired his gun in a sweeping motion. A cavalry of about a thousand zombies charged out of the city, armed with spears and riding corpses of horses. They were all being controlled by the worms! "Aim for their legs! That should stop their charge!” Adrian shouted. "Yes, sir! "Aim for their legs!" Brett yelled. Bang! Bang! Bang!!! Surprisingly, the zombies' legs were extremely brittle and fell apart the moment bullets pierced through them. The now legless zombies fell to the ground but were still alive. Though they no longer had their legs to walk with, they were still flailing around.

Havermouth, Present Time Havermouth was being invaded. The streets were filled with zombies, Van Helsings and Mer. Both groups seemed to be primarily occupied with fighting each other, but they were not averse to dragging Talen’s group into the fray. The zombies were still driven by hunger, and the armored Mer offered little appeal when an easier-accessed food source was available.

Using the high ground as a ramp, the RV launched forward like a black meteor, packed with devastating kinetic energy, aimed straight at the Tier 2 giant zombie. Jake had already scanned it. He knew its stats. It was no match for him. "ROO—?!" The giant zombie looked up, its murky eyes blinking in confusion. The next second, the vicious alloy spiked ram was right in its face. No tricks. No finesse. Just pure, brutal, overwhelming force. CRUNCH—!!! The impact was ten times louder than when he busted the factory gate. The Tier 2 zombie's massive body was hurled through the air, slamming into the factory wall and taking out half the brickwork.

[Juliet's POV] The music at the celebration party continued. Surrounded by a crowd, Alison basked in the crowd's repetitive praises. Suddenly, a deafening boom came from the city walls. Overlapping growls and roars of zombies tore through the atmosphere. Terror erupted instantaneously. People in the crowd screamed, "It's a swarm of zombies! A massive swarm of zombies!" A guard ran over, staggering along the way. "The lightning barrier on the right of the base has been breached. There's a massive gap. Zombies are coming through soon!"
