The original character in that world, Maddison Sherman, was just a villainous side character doomed to die sooner or later anyway. I remembered that the original plot said that she was supposed to die there, but it was by suicide with a knife instead.

"The Villain's redemption by Winwrite." Ricciardo read out the title. "Yes, it's a great book." "What is it about?" "It's about a villain who did a lot of bad things due to his misunderstandings. But he realized his mistake, changed his ways and had a good life." Jax informed him. "It's a nice plot, why do you like it though?" Ricciardo asked.
