She caught it, handing it to some rat in her bosoms. She was always the one to do creepy things. “Tell me.” I ordered. She smiled, showcasing her white sets of teeth. Surprisingly they were still that way. Thanks to her portions, anyway. “It’s being hundreds of years you know. I suspect the Moon Goddess has changed her course.” Nynaeve let out, drawing some shapes on the office board with a chalk. She sprinkled some salt on her vicious circle, placing a crystal ball in the middle. Then suddenly, her eyes changed into dark purple.

Violet As we walked toward the garden, Axel looked down at me. “What happened to the white gown?” I kept my hand tucked into his, considered lying. I could not tell Axel about how the fabric had gone tore or about the voice in my head. So I told him the safest part of the truth. “There was something on it,” I said quietly. “When I touched it, my fingers turned blue. It started itching and burning.” Axel stopped walking. His expression hardened so fast that the air around him changed. “What?”

And I believed him Even if part of me still wondered If I could keep them safe from me --- But just before dawn, as the sky began to gray, the sigil on my arm flared once more Not gold Not black But violet A blend of both And I heard it A voice that wasn’t mine, wasn’t hers New Unclaimed Elixir, it whispered, you are no longer gate or flame You are becoming something else entirely I opened my eyes And the stars above the Grove blinked out One by one The stars didn’t flicker—they vanished One by one, pinpricks of light were swallowed by an invisible veil above the Grove. There was no wind. No sound. Just the cold hush of something watching from beyond what eyes could see

Violet I flipped the eggs over in the pan, savouring the silence in the house while my eggs sizzled and mentally constructing the next scene for my novel. My laptop was seating beside my mug of tea, the cursor blinking questionably at me, knowing the deadline for my publisher was creeping in and while I was close to wrapping up the book, some chapters still remained and a couple others needed to be rewritten. I turned off the gas and slipped my eggs on a plate, adding crispy bacon, melted cheese and toast before settling down in front of my laptop. While I ate, my phone lighted up to show a message pop up. It was Dominic.

As I looked at Violet, I was a little surprised to see her dressed completely in purple, from head to toe. “Are you serious?” I asked in disbelief. “Yeah! I’m serious!” Violet exclaimed excitedly, her eyes sparkling. “You look like an aubergine, dear,” I muttered under my breath. “Well, purple is an elegant royal colour,” Violet said, defending her choice. “Where did you learn that?” I asked, curious. “From the books I read,” Violet replied with a smile. “Have you seen how our little princess is starting to choose what she likes?” Alpha Matthew smiled broadly as he approached us with a small purple bag in his hand.

The tape clicked off. The room went silent. Then Gideon said softly, “Damn her.” Violet stared at the black envelope in her hand. Not a place. Not a place. The silver key burned hot in her pocket. And somewhere outside the window, the blue ribbon fell from the glass and vanished into the rain.

The gentle morning sun shone on Violet, who was standing in the back garden facing the roses in front of her with scissors in her hands. She stood like a statue. Her gaze was blank, with dark circles around her eyes. Her body was here, but she left her soul and mind in that beautiful lake.

8 Two days later, Violet was working in the garden. Her job for today was to pluck the weed and water the garden that was maintained well with blooming and bright flowers on Kiara's demand. They grew in the part of the garden that was visible from her window. Sighing weakly, Violet mopped the back of her wrist on her forehead. It was scorching hot today. Summers were starting to begin and the sun was showing its wrath already. Her throat was dry, her lips cracking from lack of water and her tongue felt like sandpaper in her mouth.

Now, only minutes after sending Caelan away, I find myself standing far too close to Aria while she looks up at me with those impossible violet eyes. “You’ve been avoiding me,” she says. I lie. She calls me a liar. And Gods, I nearly kiss her right there. Instead, I touch one of her curls. A compromise. A terrible fucking compromise. The instant my fingers brush her hair, her magic responds. And so does mine. Power hums beneath my skin. Her violet eyes widen slightly. She felt it too. “Because,” I tell her, “I’m beginning to think being around you is a very bad idea.”

"She's not just breaking down walls – she's building something new. Something better." The ancient teacher nodded, its light forming images of other children worldwide, other points of connection beginning to form. Violet wasn't unique – she was just the first. A pioneer showing the way for a new generation that would grow up understanding the true nature of magic. "Great," Derek sighed, though he was smiling. "Our daughter's not just running cosmic kindergarten – she's franchising it." But I barely heard him. Something was happening in the garden, something that made my breath catch. The beings were moving in perfect synchronization now, their light weaving together around Violet in pattern
