I didn't know if I should drive away or just stay put,I decided to stay put and Boss's car drove out from the house and stopped right in front of me as he rolled down the car window. "I told you to head back to base". Boss said. "You did". I replied. "Then what are you doing here?". Boss asked and I didn't reply. Seriously, what was the boss even doing in enemy territory? We are supposed to stay far away from here and not even come two feet close to here ,so was he here? I just came to give these morons a piece of my mind because they act as if they own the place which they don't. There is something definitely suspicious going in here.

Reese’s voice cuts through the line, sharp and devoid of his usual laid-back drawl. “Shut up, Natalie. Listen to me.” His tone is harsh as usual, slicing through my pretense of nonchalance. My eyes narrow, a flicker of irritation rising, but something in his voice holds me captive. This isn't about getting high. This is something else, something urgent. “The boss,” Reese continues, his voice hushed, almost reverent, "he's in New York. The boss who’s been in the shadows, Natalie. He’s here.”

Goddamit! Where this man needed to be, he was never there! But where he wasn't required, he would shove his leg right there to be a nuisance for everyone. “Where the hell are you?” Nicholas barked over the phone, but nobody picked up the call. He dialled another number. “Where is your boss?” The man said from the other side with a hint kf worry, “We don't know, sir. We haven't had any information on him for some time. We are anticipating that he will be safe.”

one of them says. "If she's here, then where is the boss? Maybe he chased her out or something," another adds. "Don't be dumb! How will he chase her out without us seeing them? Or maybe..." he pauses, and I understand what he wants to say next. I am thinking only one thing, and I guess that is what he is thinking too. "That's him over there! That's the boss. How did he end up this way?" the same guy asks, and I can see them all rushing in that direction.

The chairman and I are waiting for any update!" Five minutes later, Bob called back, sounding relieved. "I've found the boss's location; he's at the top of a hill in the outskirts." "The outskirts? What's he doing up there?" Odgen couldn't believe it, but since Bob was sure, it must be true. Odgen didn't waste any time and ordered his team to drive to the location.

Zachary smiled, "I'm confident, and it's the only way to get inside information." Meanwhile, in the western suburbs of Miami. "Manager, we can't reach that guy named Rocco." A man sitting nearby with his legs crossed said, "He's probably dead. Keep looking for bigger fish." Just then, someone walked over, "Manager, the boss wants to see you." The manager stood up and headed toward the boss's office. He knocked on the door, and a voice from inside said, "Come in." The manager pushed the door open, "Boss, you wanted to see me."

“Tell her she's the side chick, not me.” James seemed to be stuck between us. He couldn't form words as beads of sweat formed on his forehead. “What is going on here?” came a familiar voice as the three of us turned in the direction of the voice. It was Zaylen, our boss.

he asked with a smile, and I nodded. We passed by the employees who were looking at me. Some were smiling, some were serious, and some were worried for me. I coughed softly. “Oh, don’t you hear anything about the previous secretaries of Sir before you entered that job?” he asked softly when we sat down at the employees’ center where others gathered to have coffee, eat, read, use their laptops, or chat. “No, why? What’s the matter?” I asked in surprise. He gestured for me to come closer, so I leaned my ear towards him.

An MP3 player isn’t the same at all. ‘I saw you talking to a guy last night,’ Belinda said. ‘I was in the pilates room upstairs. I’ve seen him in here before. He’s totally hot.
