He held my head in his hands and kissed me deeply. His kisses were hot and passionate. He was as hungry as a wolf that had been starving for days. Flying is the absolute shit. After some time, I see the clearing Ares was talking about. I think it’s a great spot. Although I have no idea how big we even are and if it will fit. My skin burned, and yet I felt invincible, every nerve alive with power too big for my body. My wings weren’t there, not yet, but I could feel them, ghosting out of my back, stretching wide, ready to blot out the sky. Heat rolled off me in waves that cracked the earth, setting the trees ablaze.

"I would never let you die." Hope whispered to me. Then she let go of me and stood beside me with a corner smile, confident, she made a simple motion with her hand and that reddish shape spread further, like wings, but not just any wings, they were Dragon wings. As the wings passed through the shadows and places a bluish flame appeared and began to burn everything that wasn't solid. I could tell the shadows were writhing and screaming, they were screams of agony as they were consumed, the runes of protection disappeared and the magic that was in the place dissipated, but these flames didn't hit us, it was as if the people who were with me were immune to them.
