HER ROCK Chapter 1 Ella's POV: Lonely is a word I could use to describe myself. Sure I have friends, well if you could even call them that, more like acquaintances. But that's all they are. I don't like to hang out or go to after school games or events. I would rather be alone at home in my room reading or watching Netflix. When my friends ask to hang out, which is very rare, I make up some lame excuse so I don't have to.

"Hardin?" "This is the fucking meeting you had that was so important than us talking, huh?" Hardin yelled.

After the video ended, Yvonne slammed her glass onto the floor angrily. “So, Liam was the one who encouraged Ivy to harass you. Initially, I thought he was only a playboy. I didn’t expect that he was a piece of trash!” I smiled nonchalantly and asked the helper to sweep the glass pieces away. Regardless of if he was a playboy or a piece of trash, it had nothing to do with me anymore. After I managed to convince Yvonne to go to bed, I returned to my bedroom. Then I transferred some money to Augustus and texted him.

A horde of ‘tweens almost trample me. Yup. Shit just got real. The situation is more terrifying than when I went to the opening night of the final Twilight movie. I thought those little bitches were scary but they don’t hold a candle to this crowd. There is nobody to blame but me. I am desperate enough to confront my ex, the lead singer of Pieces of Abel, at Oklahoma’s largest rock festival of the year, Rocklahoma. Sucks when I’m the cause of my misery.
