Cerita ini mengisahkan tentang seorang wanita yang bernama Rianti menjalin hubungan pacaran dengan seorang pria yang bernama Rustam. Karena status sosial mereka sangat berbeda sehingga mereka hanya bisa menjalin hubungan secara diam- diam sambil menunggu waktu yang tepat untuk jujur pada orang tua mereka masing- masing. Namun, lama kelamaan kisah asmara mereka diketahui oleh kedua orang tua Rustam. Keluarga Rustam adalah keluarga terpandang,Ibu Rianti adalah buruh cuci pribadi mereka yang sudah lama bekerja di keluarga Rustam. Rustam tega menghamili Rianti.
