Amelia stared at her reflection in the mirror and a nervous smile stretched her lips, happy with what she saw. She was ready to meet Ryan’s parents but although she’d met them before, it was all informal and this one would be the formal meeting. Her nerves were threatening to eat her out, as she tried her best to look presentable. She wore her most expensive dress, a red velvet dress that clung to her curves, accentuating her petite figure while screaming of class and elegance. She wore very little makeup and her hair was styled in soft waves, flowing down her back. Physically, she looked really good but emotionally, she wasn’t sure she was prepared to meet them, not after having a first-hand experience of how low and classless a glance from Mrs. Davidson could make her feel.
