It was an hour before midnight when Ryan and Amelia finally decided to go home. The night had gone well and dinner with Ryan’s family had been wonderful. The usual hostility that was always flying around and the tense atmosphere wasn’t there. It had all been joy and excitement to have Amelia and Dora with them.
