I watched Daniella as she walked down the aisle with Julia. Clad in the figure-hugging blue dress I bought for her, she looked se*y as hell. While all eyes were on the bride, I couldn’t take my eyes off the bridesmaid with cascading hair shining like spun gold. Daniella took my breath away. She affected me like no other, not even Lara. In fact, Lara’s charm felt insignificant compared to hers. Maybe what I felt for Lara was nothing but a crush. It crumbled when she betrayed me, but the hurt remained locked in my heart for years.
