“I know he had changed; we all do,” she fell to her knees, a frown on her face; you could tell that she was doing her best to fight back the tears that threatened to roll down her cheeks. “But why did he ask for a divorce just for a little mistake?”
Natalia picked her up and walked her to the chair where she buried her face in her palms as she sobbed loudly.
“What did you do?” Her mom asked with her eyes blazing with fury like she was ready to crush anything in her path. “Or did he just kick you out without an offense like he did to that bitch?”
Courtney raised her head to look at her mom whose eyes were intently fixed on her.
“By bitch, can you tell me who you are referring to?” Her forehead knitted as the stare lengthened.
“Who else other than Davina?” she replied curtly, and after a heavy exhale, she walked up to the fridge to get a wine along with two cups. “Also, there could be a chance that she's the cause of this.”
