Scarlet’s POV
When we arrived, I stood before her door, my heart fluttered with unease. I rang the bell and waited while nerves were prickling my skin.
A few moments later, the door creaked open and Vespara stood there in her pajamas, hair a mess, dark circles under her eyes but still managing to flash a tired grin.
“Scarlet?” she blinked, surprised, and then pulled me into a hug. “You look amazing!”
