I was back in the room again with the child. She had been crying nonstop for her mother. But I was trying to console her as much as I could. She was so innocent and had the darkest brown shade of orbs. She was extremely uncomfortable around Salem and his voice alone was enough for her to cower away in fear.
My wounds hurt me so badly that I had pleaded with him not to tie me up. I had to heal quickly, so I needed this silver out of my blood. Something had broken inside me. After that assault, Salem did on me.
