Amber’s POV
There were gunshots and growling everywhere around us.
While Izzy and Fabian did most of the fighting, they, at the same time tried to protect us. Yeti was suing her own with abilities to push back Derrick’s army as much as she could but it still wasn’t enough.
After fighting for what felt like hours, we found the children, and that was the only time I allowed myself to breathe.
“Silas have found our men!” one of Alpha Dale’s soldiers trailing us announced. “Silas have found our men!”
I smiled. We got what we came for this time. Closing my eyes, I tried to concentrate as I pulled the bond in my mind, using it to search for where Alpha Dale could be. I found him only moments later, approaching what I assumed to be a tent.
‘Come back,’ I said through the mind link. ‘We have everyone we came for.’
