Ananya's POV
After having evening snacks I decided to go to my room. I opened the window of my room to find that the clouds are turning back and running very fast showing that it is going to rain. I could smell the pleasant scent of soil. I love to have tea in this season especially when it is season's first rain, but I am not in a mood to go down and prepare tea for myself so dragging the chair I sat beside the window enjoying the weather, allowing the fresh air to caress my face lightly.
Thunders and lightnings once used to scare me when I was a kid but not anymore because as with every passing year I learned to fight with the fear as no one ever came to console me.
