Brooklyn woke up with a start. The presence of someone in her room made her look up. “Nikolas?” She whispered, staring into a pair of hazel eyes that stared back at her wordlessly. Her heart somersaulted with joy and she blinked to focus better. She couldn’t believe that Nikolas had come back. Slowly opening her eyes she looked beside her but gasped with surprise. There was no one. Where did Nikolas go? Just a second back he was here! She looked around frantically but the whole room was quiet and it seemed that she was the only one present here.
