Lilya's POV (Continued)
While I was explaining, Grayson took advantage of my supposed distraction and flung himself at me. There wasn’t time to even turn around. I grabbed hold of his shoulder and used his momentum to push him straight into his headboard. Quicker than a flash, Grayson rushed me again, this time landing a vicious right against the back of my head. The force pushed me to the floor and I rolled on instinct before his foot could connect. That had been….fast. Extremely fast. His attacks were barely two seconds apart.
A small, round half yellow half white tablet caught my attention. My eyes trailed forward to find a white plastic bottle that had no label on the floor, pills littered around it. I reached for it, but Grayson got there before me. He kicked me in the head before bounding off to the other side of the room.
