ALEJANDRO POV
The walk to the medicine room felt longer than usual. Perhaps it was the weight that let crushed into my chest so hard my ribs could barely contain it; or the silence that was so loud it felt like my soul was screaming inside me. Even the walls were colder than usual, staring with black eyes as I marched down the long hallway, nodding to the guards who stood there with dread covering them like clothes.
We all knew what came next. Everything in the base, living and non-living../ The crisp air… even the bloody whisper in the air knew what was going to happen.
