Zoran slams the butt of the gun into the masked man kneeling in front of him who grunts and curls up in pain. The terse silence is broken and someone else has Damian’s attention.
The mask is yanked off the stranger’s face.
“You…” Damian’s voice is deathly cold as he takes in the man, staring at him with brutal hate.
Zoran steps away from him to hold me up and give Damian a chance to speak to Simon. I swear his face is familiar. Since this is a night of unravelling, could this perhaps be Irina’s father?
Simon trembles at the sight of Damian, he starts to ramble nervously. “This isn’t usually my setup. Sergei called me from my abode and swore he knew how to defeat you and I knew it wouldn’t be possible but I wanted to give it a shot just be– Arrgh
