Arthur's POV

I could sense the anger in his voice, but I did not understand why it was directed at me. “Chill, man, why are you threatening me?” I asked.

“Where the fuck is Sierra?” Jackson asked.

“No idea. Isn't she your sister?” I said, trying my best to seem nonchalant as I helped myself with some clothes.

It was unlike Jackson to use this method to test me, but I could not give out the fact I had texted her. Even then, I would still not be able to know where Sierra was.

“Don't fuck with me, Arthur! Where is she?” he reiterated.

“I haven't set my eyes on her since I left the house that day,” I said. “Wait a minute, what happened to

Sierra’s POVThey didn't seem to have noticed me as they looked away, taking their seats like royalty. How could they be so smug about ruining their own son’s life? I always thought it was a rumour that Arthur’s parents were unsupportive of him. I didn’t think it was true in any form, but I was wrong. They truly weren’t supportive, hurting Arthur. I heard his pain through his voice. If only they could feel it.“Let’s go, Sierra,” Jackson said.We walked back to her seats, Elvis beside me. He held onto his gift bag, eager to give it to Arthur if he won, but right now, I doubted he would be able to. My eyes went to Arthur’s parents yet again. They were being given premium treatment. I didn’t hate that, but I hated how calm they were. Only because of Arthur would I not match over there. I could never imagine parents being cruel to their children, all because of their own benefits.“Let’s welcome our racers!” the commentator said. The audience screamed and clapped in excitement. “Standing

  • Falling For The Biker    Chapter 82

Sierra’s POVChristmas.Jiggles of the bells.Snow ever so beautiful with the decorations all around. It was supposed to be a happy occasion. One that would make everyone smile and be excited. To top it all off, there was a long awaited biker’s race today. In just a few hours, there would be a crowd in the race tracks.I should be happy but I could not. Instead, I was filled with worry. I stared down at my phone screen and my call log. I have called Arthur over twenty times, yet it has said the same thing — switched off.He seemed fine yesterday, even though he avoided the calls that were coming in. Now, I regret leaving without making sure. Ever since I left the house, it seemed he went silent. I heard Mum and Dad downstairs packing up to leave for the racetrack. With a sigh, I got to my feet. “Mommy,” Elvis ran into the room. “I joined Grandma to knit. Which do you think Uncle Arthur would like?”I squatted, caressing his face with a smile. “You knitted a scarf for Arthur?” I asked.

  • Falling For The Biker    Chapter 81

Arthur's POV The blood drained from not just Dad's face, but Mum's as well. I've always taken all my father threw at me, for one reason and one reason only: my passion. He had hands in every aspect that could pull me down in an instant. My father went so far to ensure his hands were in top places, solely for this purpose. It was funny considering he wasn't ready to do all that to get me the career I wanted, but he was more than ready to pull me down.My grandfather used so much effort to guide me, help me get to the top. With him, I was the livest, contented, but then he died from a heart disease that had lingered. His death broke me, but I knew I could not give up. He not only brought me up when my parents were too busy to take care of the child they brought to this world, but he broke his back to uplift me.And my father? He wanted to ruin it all. A few times with grandfather I had to bend to my father to not worry him, but with him gone, it became worse. He heightened his advances

  • Falling For The Biker    Chapter 80

Arthur's POV The moment I stepped into the house, my gaze quickly landed on my parents; my father was visibly upset and my mother having tea with a calm demeanor that told me there was something underlying.Sarah rushed out, taking the bags from me. Another thing that surprised me. “Why are you here?” I asked, visibly perplexed.Sarah smiled, her eyes darting to the side. I took a step forward. “Why did you make her-”My words faded at a thought. I took one glance at Sarah and rushed upstairs. Pushing the door open, I knew my fears were right. Quickly, I rushed to her side.Without a word, I wrapped my hands around her, my fingers digging into her hair, softly. Sierra whimpered, trying to hold it all back. “I'm sorry,” I finally spoke, deeply upset.I didn't think they were going to come here right now. “I'm sorry,” I repeated, still holding her close.Sierra said nothing, letting the tears roll off her eyes. My heart felt like it was being squeezed. When I felt her calm enough, I sl

  • Falling For The Biker    Chapter 79

Sierra’s POVEven after changing into a new outfit, I didn’t have the courage to go back downstairs. I had never met Arthur, but I could tell just by looking at the older man that he was Arthur’s father, with the woman beside him being his mother.I knew I could not remain up here. That would leave a horrible impression, but then haven’t I with the way I was dressed earlier? Eventually, I decided to step out of the room.I got to the living area and found both of them having tea. “Oh, you decided to join us,” Arthur’s mother said, but I did not fail to recognize the coldness in her tone.“Join us. Sarah!” she called out.Sarah stepped out into the room and bowed. “Get her some tea,” Arthur’s mother instructed.Sarah bowed and rushed in to that. I wanted to decline, but the look on her face told me I didn’t have the option to do that. I took a seat as Sarah served the tea. “What relationship do you have with my son?” Arthur’s father finally spoke, not bothering to look at me.He was ca

  • Falling For The Biker    Chapter 78

Sierra’s POVI held Arthur tighter as we rode through the streets of the village. I was so distracted with Maria and Yvonne; I did not pay attention to how fast we rode. When they were no longer in sight, my brain finally registered it.The buildings disappeared in seconds. I could see how much attention this brought to Arthur. I have seen him ride, and he has always been breathtaking. I looked up at his head, that was perfectly covered with the helmet he had on.I dropped my head, my cheeks burning red at the thought that filled my head. I held him close, loving the feel of having my arms around him. With my thoughts swirling around, the man that rode the bike, the speed at how we moved, seemed insignificant. With each mile we ran, I felt more and more comfortable. Slowly, I let go of his body. Arthur grabbed my hand just before it left his abdomen. “Careful, Sierra,” Arthur yelled due to the noise around us.However, that did not stop me. “I will,” I told him, taking off my helmet.
