CYRIL'S POV
“Can you just tell me what the fuck happened?’’ I growled, fed up with the sluggishness from each one of them.
“I'm taking you to her.’’ Alan snapped out.
I preferred he acted out than just keep quiet like I hadn't been speaking.
“So why's everyone quiet? What’s the situation like?’’ I took the chance to ask, refusing to accommodate the ill thoughts from my judge of the expressions they had wrapped on their faces.
While Lance simply kept his face low, his silence was dread itself. Alfred worsened matters with his worried and simultaneously sympathetic look. Both tailed behind while Alan led the way to the car.
‘’You'll see things for yourself, Please.’’ Alan answered, resuming his walk.
Lance and Alfred stood back while Alan joined me in the car. The ride would have been thick with silence if my throat didn't keep blobbing at intervals. While I anticipated the worst, I dreaded the reality that'd eventually present itself.
“We're here.’’ Alan announced.
