Chapter 85 The Girl on the Surveillance Footage
A month has passed, and Leilani has grown closer to Naki, marveling at her incredible abilities they have spent hours exploring the ocean together. As they emerge from the water, laughing and chatting, Leilani feels a sense of joy and belonging here on the island, that she has never experienced before.
"Have you considered donating your DNA for transfusions? I would love to volunteer for the first one!" Leilani says with a hopeful smile. "Maybe just for you, I'd do it, but I'm not sure about giving my DNA to a world DNA bank," she says firmly. "Well, what about just for your family here on the Island?" Naki agrees but she wants to talk with her Dad first.
Meanwhile, in a secure room next to Sam's office, is the island's surveillance center, Lucas, Brent, and most of the shapeshifter team, scrutinize over the security footage, this is their morning routine, their eyes scanning the screens for any signs of potential threats.
