Chapter 50 Erzulie Red-Eyes
We all gather in the dining room for supper, when Niklaus and his entourage walk in. We hugged and welcomed them making room at the table, But Niklaus, a man who likes to get straight to the point, goes straight to Sophia, his face grave with determination, as he pulls out the chair next to her and Sam and Niklaus stares at her trying to figure out if she is worth his effort. but his gut says to try.
"Sophia, we need your help," Kie said. "We need to summon Erzulie Red-Eyes, the loa of vengeance. Can you arrange a meeting with the Voodoo priest?"
Sophia's eyes narrowed, her expression serious. "That's a dangerous request. Erzulie is not to be trifled with. But I understand your desperation. I'll speak to my connection, and we'll see what we can do."
She paused, her eyes widened with a hint of concern. "But be warned, the loa of vengeance will not come cheaply. She'll demand a price, and it may be more than you're willing to pay."
