Anita saw that her mother’s complexion was now pale, she did not know what she was thinking at that moment, she looked at Divan then back at her mother but none of them spared her a glance. Their eyes were glued on each other, Anita shook her head helplessly then stood up from where she was seating. “I will give you two some space.” She told her mother but Laura only nodded.
She did not move or turn to look at her. ‘if the mate bond makes people so stupid then am good without it.’ Anita thought, she stood there for a few seconds hoping that her mother would at least look at her but she did not. Her eyes were glued on Divan and so was his. “Okay, am leaving now.” She said walking to the door but Laura just nodded her head.
