She was the pride and joy of the pack. a role model to the she-wolves her age, but that all changed when her father, alpha of Rosewood pack was killed in a rogue attack. her uncle, who was the beta of the pack took over the alpha position then kicked her and her mother out of the pack. forcing her into a life of a rogue. Anita, the alpha's daughter who is only 18 years of age, learns to live life outside of a pack, as a rogue and take care of herself and her mother. Who was consumed by the grief of losing her mate. To a point that she lost her mind and was now a useless she-wolf in the eyes of the new alpha, her uncle.

Prologue
“Now listen closely, you are going to leave this place together with your crazy mother and never return here.” I looked at my new alpha, well he will not be my alpha for long since he is kicking us out. But what hurts me about his words is the fact that not so long ago this person looked at me with nothing but love in his eyes. But today those very same eyes look at me with disgust like looking at garbage. Another thing that makes this hurt, is that this person is my uncle.
My father’s brother, the man who use to be the beta of the pack while my father was the alpha. Yep, life will show you flames and will use the very same people you thought you can lean on. “Remember, I own this town, every business that is here is related to the pack one way or the other and they all know not to hire you.” My eyes popped thinking ‘how are we going to live if he banned people from hiring me?’ but I did not dare voice out that thought.
“I want to see you living as the rat that you are, a rogue, that is what I want you to be, then I will be satisfied.” He said all this while holding my chin tightly making me look at him. My tears are just flowing down my cheeks, but he is not moved at all. Yet, this is the very same man that did not want to see me cry, a man who would do anything to make me happy. My uncle, Uncle Larry, the coolest uncle. That is what I used to call him, but now, I call him the monster of Rosewood.

“Luka, stop playing with sand, you know mama wont like it when you get into the house full of sand.” Nova said to her brother, but Luka stood up and continued to throw sand around giggling. “Luka no!” Nova stood up attempting to stop him, but Luka ran to the packhouse with Nova right behind him. As the pain tore through him Nico clutched at his chest feeling like his heart was being ripped out of his chest. The pain was unbearable and excruciating. He felt like he was going to die right there and then. “Aaaaah!!” he cried out painfully clutching his chest. As the pain intensified, he shifted into his wolf form then he looked up in the sky and howled, other werewolves close by heard the painful howl and joined in.He was close to the border of Rosewood when this happened and the werewolves that heard him were the warriors on patrol. After the howl, they went looking for him and found him in his wolf form curled up on the ground looking helpless. They surrounded him as the other warrior mind linked Marco to come quickly.
