I had woken up from a terrible nightmare with a high level migraine. Drenched in my own sweat, I called around the house searching for Romano, but he was out, this time without a note or breakfast and first hand fear gripped me. What if he never returned from confronting Dre, was this the end we had spoken about?.
It couldn't be, he had promised that he'd find a way to tell me if he was leaving, And since he hadn't, I still had hope.
I decided to freshen up and make breakfast for two, waiting for him to return. I served the two of us and sat in the dining room, patiently. I heard his car engine and I rushed to look through the window, it was him in the flesh.
I ran out to meet him at the porch, jumping into his steady arms, he caught me and smiled.
I locked my lips with him, intertwining perfectly, trying to become one with him. I didn't care what else was happening, or what he had spoken about with Dre. Katherine Montero had fallen in love with an Indiana, one w
