Zoe Newton:
Zoe got home and met a lady cooking in their kitchen. She was surprised as her father didn't allow anyone else into the kitchen since her mother died. She looked for her father in his study because he is always there by noon, going through some books. He was so engrossed in the book that he didn't notice when she walked into the room.
"Hi dad" she said as a way of announcing her presence. He looked up from where he was sitting with his reading glasses that sat perfectly on top of his nose line. He is mostly called Mr Newton and he's in his late 50's.
" Hey angel, you are back. How was classes today? He quiered. It didn't seem like he has something to say to her concerning the lady downstairs so she asked.
"Who is the lady in the kitchen?" Her dad didn't look surprised or give any expression that he is in a difficult position to start explaining who she is. He replied casually " that's the woman I want to get married to and she's going to be your step mother. I want to ask
