Zoe is just a girl who has no relationship with scot. They could have simply been lovers and spent their time instead of facing a disaster like this. But now everything has happened. The only thing Scot can do is save her and make her his. Scot sighed and walked away from the emergency room with his mom and got into the car which Zoe's dad and her came in.
Zoe's dad was already there burning his face against his palms. Scot talked to him not wanting to let him feel regret for his actions. If he didn't do that , maybe Scot couldn't have met her. Scot looked at the ring on his hand and took it off without a hesitation.
