It was 11:30 PM. I was so caught up in work that I didn't realize it was almost midnight. I stood in front of the door waiting to get inside. I rang the bell quite a few times but got no response. I was getting frustrated and dug into my pant pockets for the spare keys. I unlocked the door and pushed it open.
It was pitch black. No lights. I pulled my phone out and turned the flashlight on and walked towards the switchboard and switched the lights on.
