I follow Salvatore, he guides me inside his office. I gently pull away my hand and take a seat on the corner sofa, he shuts the door behind him and sits beside me, leaving a small space between us. For 5 minutes we stay silent, I look around the office, observing it's interior, he finally speaks.
"What will you do once you're proven innocent?" I shift my eyes towards him, he's alreay staring at me.
"Leave this place" I answer without missing a beat. "What will you do if I'm proven guilty?" I ask.
He studies my face, "I'll lock you in the dungeons forever" he responds.
The answer surprises me and scares me together. I thought he'd torture me then kill me, but staying in the dungeon forever, I don't like the sound of it. "Won't you kill me or something?" I voice out my thoughts.
