Light knocking on the door makes me wake up drowsily, I look around the empty bedroom, Salvatore left early this morning saying he had to help his brother track down the threat.

Knock! Knock!

I gaze at the door, "come in" I say groggily, I sit up, leaning my back against the headboard, my lower body feels soar, we were up half of the night making love.

Last night after Senior Capo's confession Salvatore was distraught.

I spent the night consoling him, he didn't cry, he was just confused about his emotions which was stressing him out, my heart is hurts knowing that I can't do anything to save him from this pain.

I look at the maid who walks inside rolling in a cart full of delicious breakfast, I'm surprised to see Lucia following behind her.

I cover my bare legs with the duvet, my upper body is covered with Salvatore's previously discarded shirt, I wore it because I was feeling cold.
