Author: Alyssa J
"This is just a warning. Kieran belongs to me. Don't you understand? If you don't know your place, believe me, you'll end up just like your mother!"

Before I could even process what she meant by those words, Sera pointed at the grave I had just dug.

Her voice was full of fake grief and accusation: "Aria, what are you doing here? It wasn't enough that you hit me - now you have to dig up my little dog's grave! You're the Luna. If I did something wrong, just tell me directly and I'll accept it. But why do you have to treat me like this!"

Seeing Kieran and Owen rushing over behind her, I realized her vicious intentions.

"How did you become so evil!"

Even Owen looked at me with complete disgust.

"How could you do something like this? Digging up Aunt Sera's pet dog's grave! You've changed. How did you become so malicious and cruel? My mother wasn't like this before. You don't deserve to be my mother anymore!"

Their words pierced my heart like needles.

My face was ashen. I couldn't even summon the energy to defend myself anymore.

This was clearly my mother's grave, yet Sera had become the complete victim while I was the unreasonable perpetrator.

Kieran glanced at me coldly.

"Forget about you killing Sera's dog. Now you've dug up the pet's grave too. You really make me feel ashamed. I'll definitely report this to the entire pack and decide how to deal with you."

"Why are you still holding the little dog's ashes! Give them back to Sera!"

As soon as he finished speaking, he immediately called over the Beta wolves without changing expression.

"Go take those ashes back."

"These are my mother's ashes! What the hell are you trying to do!"

I screamed at the top of my lungs.

"Sera has been lying from beginning to end! I'm the victim here! She never had a pet dog!"

Owen urged them impatiently.

"Hurry up, all of you. I'm already tired of listening to her make up stories."

The Gammas came forward to snatch the urn from my hands. I could only watch helplessly as they handed it to Sera.

"No!"

I practically roared myself hoarse.

"Give it back to me! That's mine!"

Kieran and Owen stood in front of Sera like guardian angels.

Sera held the urn and looked at me triumphantly.

The next second, she pretended to lose her grip...

"CRASH!"

The urn fell to the ground and shattered into pieces. Seeing the ashes scattered everywhere, I nearly collapsed.

The sky began to rain at that moment, as if my mother was crying for me.

I howled helplessly: "Kieran, you beast! Those were my mother's ashes!"

"Owen, your grandmother loved you so much! How can you face her now!"

Kieran exploded in rage.

"You're still going to keep up this act! Do you think you can escape punishment by slandering Sera!"

"You bad mother! I'll never like you again! You don't deserve to be my mother!"

With that, they turned and left with Sera without hesitation.

I collapsed helplessly in front of the grave, gathering the ashes bit by bit back into the broken pieces of the urn.

I wiped away my tears and dialed a number from my blocked contacts: "That territorial expansion plan can be sold to you, but at ten times the price. I want one billion."

I didn't want to stay in this pack for even one more minute. There was nothing left here worth my attachment.

I boarded the plane directly with the urn. Kieran, Owen - we will never see each other again in this lifetime.
