Katrina’s point of view
I stood in front of the house I was thinking of renting, and it was exactly what I wanted. I walked around the living room smiling as everyone started rushing to their rooms.
“The main bedroom is mine! My boxes are already there!” I shouted after Joshua, who was running after Becky, trying to find a bedroom.
“You look sad today” Bray said to me as I turned to him.
“Just tired, Bray. Are you not going to check your room?” I asked him and he shook his head.
“Whatever I can get is never for me.” He says to me as I look around the house.
Thelma would have loved the house. Especially the kitchen. It had an island counter with a stove on it.
“Go check on your room. I am sure you will love it” I pushed Bray, who started walking away but stopped midway, glancing at me as I forced a smile.
I spent the rest of the time going around the rest of the house, and once I was done. I fixed up my room and after taking a shower.
