Ruby’s P.O.V
I stared at Linda with a sly smile on my lips as she gazed at me with disbelief in her eyes.
Taking slow, steady steps, I paced around her in circles. “What is it, Linda? Why are you acting so shocked?”
She swallowed visibly and let out an awkward laugh. “Ru..Ruby, I don’t think you understood my question. I think you are mistaken. I was asking if….”
