A week had passed since Linda had fallen from the stairs. She had been brought back home from the pack’s clinic after Allen had said she and the baby were out of danger. But she wasn’t opening her eyes, she wasn’t coming back to me and it frustrated me to no end.
Allen had said to give her time and to keep monitoring her progress but I was getting more and more worried with each passing day. What if she never returns?
A sigh left my lips as I stood up from the chair I had been sitting close to her. I was about to mind-link Camille to come take care of her as I had a meeting to attend in another pack when I heard a knock on the door.
