When they entered the kitchen, they found it empty. Kat offered to wash the dishes, which Emily allowed.
As they worked, Kat excitedly shared her plans for the future, expressing her desire to be independent once she's fully recovered.
"Before getting carried away with your dreams, you'll need to complete school," Emily reminded her.
"I'll be going to school?" Kat turned to look at Emily, surprised.
"Yes, you don't have to run around the pack house doing chores. You'll do your fair share in keeping the house clean, but education will always be a priority," Emily explained.
"Wow, that's cool! When do I start?" Kat asked eagerly.
"I'll discuss that with Davies or Nate and get back to you," Emily promised. They finished washing the dishes and left the kitchen, heading back to their room.
However, they ran into Davies and Garrett along the way. Garrett had been busy since the arrival of the two witches, and Emily couldn't help but feel that he had been avoiding her.
