Sylvia's POV
I was the only one left in the room as Victor worked on Alex. I couldn’t help but panic as I stared at my sister. Would she ever recover from this?
“Do you think…the baby’s still in there?” I asked, but Victor didn’t reply as he concentrated on her Legs.
Alex was still turning restlessly. Victor had tried to make her sleep, but it wasn’t working out as she only acted dizzy and turned uncomfortably from side to side – slowly.
“My baby…” She moaned at several intervals.
Shortly, the door opened and it was Leo and Cruz. I sprang to my feet immediately and bowed my head.
Phew! His presence gave me a little fright.
He looked like someone who had come there in a hurry as the upper buttons of his shirt was open, exposing a little of his heavily tattoed chest.
“ Alpha Leo! Good evening” Victor stood up and bowed as well.
Her brows knitted when she heard the name – Leo.
