Olivia's POV

I could feel the mild sun rays gently gleaming on my face, the cool morning breeze gracing my skin, causing me to immerse more into my sleep. I was beginning to enjoy my early morning beauty sleep when suddenly, it was interrupted by the beeping of my phone. I recalled not setting the alarm, fuck it! 

I didn't care to know who the heck was calling, I ignored the call, and in just a few seconds the call came in again. I whined while sluggishly lifting my upper body from the bed and reaching for my cell phone which was lying under my pillow just by the side of the bed.

I opened my blurry eyes to check who it was that was ruining my beauty sleep and saw it was Paige. Huh? Why the hell is she calling me this early? I hope she isn't back with her mommy attitude again.

I sat up from my bed and slide my thumb through the screen of my phone, and clicked the loudspeaker button before throwing it on the bed.

" Veeeeee!!!!!" She screamed so boisterously that I almost jumped from the bed. I wonder what drama she is up to now?

" Gosh, Olivia. Don't tell me you are still in bed when the city is literally on fire!" She screeched over the phone. I ran my hand through my blonde hair, still couldn't get a thing that she was yapping about.

" What are you...."

" you are missing out, Vee. Kurt is back! My Mighty Alpha is back! We are at the Arena right now awaiting his arrival. Hurry up!" She yelled with so much enthusiasm, that I scoffed.

" Paige... Is this the reason you woke me up so early? " I asked.

" well...yeah. Girl, everyone in the City is here at the arena. Oh My Gosh! He is here Vee, he's here! " She screamed so loud. I picked up my phone and noticed she requested a video call. I accosted and she switched the camera to show me the entire spectacle. I caught a glance of " de Mighty Alpha" and sighed, more like " the Playboy alpha".

" You've gone crazy, Paige," I told her and dropped the call. Fuck! I can't believe this silly girl woke me up so early in the morning just to show me that disgusting guy's face.

If we weren't besties and childhood friends, I'd have unleashed demons on her.

I picked up my phone and went online, and indeed the entire city had come to welcome him, well... Except for the wise and engaged ones who had better things to do I presumed. I went ahead and checked on my I*******m page and all my classmates were streaming the event live." Wow, oh! Look, his sex toy came along as well" I quipped to myself when I saw his lady assistant walking behind him while wearing a skimpy outfit that revealed all her thighs and her breasts dangling in front of her as she-cat walked.

Alpha Kurt Cobain wasn't just an alpha and protector of the " Crescent Moon Clan." He was a Billionaire businessman in Great lake city.

He wasn't just known in the city alone, he was recognized both national and international.

I heard his men beat up some dude who tried to touch him one time, only his family members and close allies are allowed close to him. He was the heir apparent to Cobain's properties and corporations, the Chief Executive Officer of the Cobain group of companies. His younger brother Jaden and I weren't just schoolmates, he was my boyfriend as well. Even though he graduated before me and was already in college.

Alpha Kurt was dreamy and his mere sight around the ladies drives them insane, some ended up passing out.

I heard that at the age of sixteen, he joined his father at the battle against the redwood clan and single-handedly defeated their Alpha won over the clan. Within six years, he was able to bring all twelve clans together as one giving us the city that we are so proud to be a part of today. He turned down the offer given to him by his father to take over from him and become the Supreme Alpha, for reason best known to him.

There's a holiday named after him, and he wasn't even dead yet but a course about him is being taught in colleges around the city, I heard. 

He wasn't just brave and attractive, everything about him was dramatic. Expensive wardrobe, most valuable jewelry, a caravan of luxurious cars. I also heard he doesn't repeat his clothes not even his business suits. But behind all those might and power lies what I hated more about him, he had an attitude problem, he was a chronic Casanova and he is brutal. Still, people adore him.

I still remember when we met ten years back. Well, it wasn't a meeting, I bumped into him one time when I went with my dad to pay a visit to the Supreme alpha. I was only nine years old then, I recall playing with my favorite ceramic pony on the staircase. I was having fun while waiting for my father to round up his meeting with Kurt's father. I heard my father call out my name and I quickly ran down the stairs to go meet him but bumped into Alpha Kurt, by accident, my favorite ceramic pony fell from the stairs and broke into pieces.

He just looked at me and continued upstairs with his girlfriend. I cried all day for my ceramic Pony because that was the only thing that reminds me of my mother, my only memory of her. And that jerk broke it without showing any remorse for his actions, I don't think I can ever forget that every day.

For one year now he's been on a business trip to Asia but he just returned to Great lake city, and it's been the talk of the whole city.

Rumor has it that he possessed an island in Asia and an estate in Europe.

Thanks to my Bestie Paige who had a huge crush on him and never goes a day without digging out his incredible deeds, and my relationship with his younger brother who never seizes to brag about his awesome big bro now and then.

I stood up from my bed and thought I'd get ready for school since Paige already acted as my alarm clock today. With Kurt's arrival, I was certain the day was gonna be even worse than it normally was. regardless, and unfortunately, I got to be there. I left my phone on the bed and started my room.

I trotted down the stairs to the living room and met one of the maids, Dina doing some cleaning.

" Good morning Miss Olivia." She announced in obeisance as I walked into the living room.

" Morning Dina!" I made my way to the kitchen and went straight to the refrigerator, brought out a jug of freshly squeezed orange juice and glass, I poured some into the glass before putting it back in the fridge.

" Dina" I called out softly while I sat in the dining area, Dina answered from the living room, stopping what she was doing, and turning to me.

" Did daddy come home last night?" I asked.

"Yes ma'am. He did but he left quite early this morning. He said he had some important work to attend to." She retorted and I heaved a depressing sigh. 

He is always busy with work every day and never had time for his only child. Work is always more important than his daughter.

Well, this has been my life since I could recall.

I am the only daughter of my father, it was once just the two of us against the world ever since my mom left us when I was eight. I Could feel how distant he had become after my transition on my eighteenth birthday. If it was possible for him, he could have locked me up indoors forever, since I brought shame to his image as one of the greatest warriors of Great lake city.

I am Nineteen now and sometimes I forget I even have a father.

I attend one of the best schools in the state and am already in my final year. my father was an over-occupied businessman, and one of the cabinet members of our clan. We weren't so wealthy but he made sure to provide me with everything I needed even before I could ask, except for his love and attention.

He returns home late at night when I'm already asleep and leaves very early the next morning before I wake up.

Occasionally I get to see him once a week, and or bump into him most times in the hallway. As a result of this, I am mostly in solitary but thanks to Paige who does her best to keep me company at times. Well, that's your life of yours dearly, Olivia Wilde.

After drinking my orange juice halfway before keeping it on the table and left for my room to prepare for school.

I got into my room, changed into a towel, and went straight into the bathroom. I turned on the shower and enjoyed a nice warm bath. Once I was done with my bath, I returned to my room.

Ooh, my phone was beeping on the bed. I hurried to it and realized it was Jaden calling. Aww! I flushed in a smile.

" Hey, I mumbled breezily as I lay in the bed letting go of my towel.

" Hey, sweetness. What's up?" Did he ask in a cute romantic tone of his?

I loved it when he called me sweetness.

" I'm good and you?" I replied.

" I'm cool, so you getting ready for school." He asked since he was in college and lived a bit far away from home.

" Yeah. " I retorted, still couldn't stop smiling.

" You must have heard of my brother's return by now, am I right?" He scoffed sounding a bit cold about it which was unusual since he had always been enthusiastic when it comes to his older brother.

" Yeah, I just heard. Paige called me up early this morning. You know how she can be." I muttered in my breath.

" Cool. umm, I was wondering if you'd be chanced to come to visit me when you are done with your classes? It's really important." He asked and I scraped my head. Well, it was not as though I had something to do at home or anything.

" sure. I will be there." I said and felt him smiling on the phone.

" Great. Take care. Love you." He ended the call before I could reply.

I smiled and stared at the screen do my phone for a while before I dropped it on the bed and proceeded to my closet to get ready for school.

However, I wondered why Jaden wants to meet up at his school.

After putting on a dashing printed plaid short skirt and black turtle neck sleeveless, rocking my outfit with a black boot that complimented it just perfectly. I moved to the dressing mirror and picked up a brush, slowly swabbing my blonde hair in front of the mirror.

I let it fall gracefully on my shoulders, then I put on some light shade of pink lipstick that blends with the hue of my lips.

I admired myself in front of the mirror for a little while, I was looking as pretty as ever.

Politely, it's not like I'm being haughty or anything. I just sometimes like to admire myself once in a while, especially when I have a love life. Though I have a pretty face and nice hair, my main attraction was my body, my figure. My friends compliment me all the time.

I have a perfect size of botty and normal-sized rounded breasts. My waistlines were slim and narrowed down to my lower body, giving it that refined figure.

I was quite envied because of my body and sometimes I feel like I get body-shamed by my peers for having such a body but that was merely  My only dilemma since I was still unable to curb my wolf yet and she wasn't strong like everyone else. each time I transform during the new moon, I feel sorry for myself and my wolf. Some people would say that I was the Omega. 

Perhaps that was what caused the frigid between. My father and I. He had always trained me with the little time he had, though he was barely around. he wanted his daughter to make a name for herself just like he did, but on my eighteenth birthday when I finally transited where he kept me safe in the cabin. I could see the disappointment in his eyes when he gazed at my wolf.

My dad said I inherited the weaker basis of me from my mom's antecedents, it happened once in every three generations. Unfortunately, I inherited it and it was the most embarrassing part of my life. Each time during a festivity amongst the clans, I never tried to show my face anywhere around there, and even when my friend insist I do come, I fake sickness and stay back at home. I guess adorning myself was a way of escaping my truth since luckily we are in the twenty-first century.
