Annelise's POV
Right, I was telling him about how this pregnancy came about before we were interrupted yesterday, and now that there's no longer an interruption, it's just us now.
"Right, where was I?" I guess it's just time for us to talk about that night.
"You were talking about—" once again, we got interrupted by his phone. Even I internally cussed. It's now starting to look like the whole universe was against us at this point.
“I’m turning this sh*t off now.” He cussed out angrily then long-pressed the power button. He threw the phone on the table; I'm sure that's going to leave a crack on the screen.
I opened my mouth to talk again but was interrupted by my own phone. We both looked at one another then I looked at my own phone.
“It’s a strange number," I mumbled as I picked up the phone.
"Can I see it? It might be the same person trying to reach me; I can recognize the number.” He said, and I raised up the phone to his eyes.
